This project delivered the design of a 450-foot bridge connecting Alta Drive and Yellow Bluff Road in the City of Jacksonville, Florida — a key infrastructure link supported by comprehensive roadway and drainage improvements, along with extensive environmental permitting coordination.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Alta Drive / Yellow Bluff Road Bridge project establishes a critical 450-foot connection between two key roadways in Jacksonville, Florida. Beyond the bridge structure itself, the project scope included designing roadway approaches to the bridge and drainage systems to ensure safe, efficient traffic flow and effective stormwater management at the new connection point. As with many waterway and wetland-adjacent infrastructure projects in the region, this design required close coordination across multiple state and federal environmental agencies to secure all necessary permits and ensure full regulatory compliance throughout design and construction.
